Applying for a course
You can attend a Converge course if you are an adult (18 and older) and you either receive current support for a mental health issue and/or have experienced mental health issues in the past
Courses are free of charge. They take place during York St John University term time and vary between 4 and 10 weeks in length. You can apply for a course throughout the year.
HOW IT WORKS
Once your have been allocated a place on your chosen course, we will send you information on how to take part, and log in details for our Online Classroom if you’re studying online.
We can also provide training if you need help with Zoom or using the Online Classroom if you need it.

Converge Connected has its own Online Classroom, a web site where students can access course materials and information. You’ll be given log in details once you’re enrolled, and you will have access to the materials there for the whole semester of your course.

Zoom Classes
Online classes take place over Zoom, where you an receive tuition with other students from your tutor. Classes can include lectures, discussions and other fun activities.
You’ll receive a reminder of your Zoom class each week by email, including the link to follow to get to the class.

Some of our courses are available by post. You will receive materials and activities to work through in your own time at home. Your tutor will write to you regularly, and you can reply with your questions, comments and work for feedback.
